Raised in a family owned restaurant business, Joey developed a strong foundation in service and relationships that continues to shape his work today. A lifelong Southwest Michigan resident, Joey is active in the Harbor Country community. He is a member of the Harbor Country Rotary Club, sings in the choir at St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, and volunteers with the Feeding America mobile food pantry.
Outside of work, Joey enjoys boating on Lake Michigan, playing piano, and spending time with his two Boston Terriers.
