Genay’s financial journey began with a childhood where money was scarce. She saw the impact that it had on her and her family, and made the decision to educate herself on how money works. Genay began a successful career at one of the country’s largest financial services companies, but wanted independence and personalization to best serve her clients. She and her husband, Tony Airey, established Airey Financial Group in 1997 and since, have impacted thousands of lives. Her lifelong relationships with clients is one of her biggest compliments.
Genay holds a ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) and an RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) and believes that a focus on continuing education has been a critical element of her successful career. She has earned FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, and 63 registrations. The State of Indiana has appointed her as an Investment Advisor Representative, and she holds license for life, health, property, and casualty insurance in Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan, along with certification for long-term care coverage.
Genay resides in Valparaiso, Indiana with her husband and best friend of thirty years and their two dogs. Genay’s daughter Kirsten and her son Shaun have families of their own, and she considers them to all be her “why”. In her free time, Genay enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, golfing, and boating.
